Intuitive and easy-to-use, SimpleGov gives you the freedom to provide customer experiences that meet community expectations, and yours.
City of Marion continues to set the benchmark for South Australian councils with a website that provides a personalised and localised customer experience, including interactive functionality that allows residents to explore nearby parks, libraries and facilities. Marion uses SimpleGov to manage multiple websites all in the one place, including its corporate website, tourism website, and Elected Member extranet, with relevant content able to be easily shared across each.
As councils continue to move towards a completely digital future, City of Playford is taking a major leap forward and empowering its residents with a self-serve customer portal. Playford is leveraging SimpleGov to integrate directly with its internal systems — Infor Pathway — to provide its community with access to services around the clock while unlocking significant cost efficiencies for the organisation.
Core to delivering this project was integrating SimpleGov with the council’s third-party platforms: Bang the Table for community engagement, PageUp for promoting job opportunities, Pozi for geospatial data, and ATDW for events. This, coupled with future planned integration with additional internal stystems, will provide the community of Mitchell Shire with a single point of access to council services and communications.
The SimpleGov platform allowed the Town of Gawler to retire an expensive third-party licence and replace it with a purpose-built community consultations platform integrated directly into its corporate website.
The “On Business” portal aims to attract businesses to the City of Onkaparinga region and to support growth of these businesses. The website, which was developed in close collaboration with Council’s Economic Development, Marketing, ICT, and Executive teams, includes many innovative features, such as a personalised user experience for every business.
As a secondary stage of the City of Marion’s website redevelopment project, we scoped, designed, and custom-developed a robust system for managing bookings. This allows website visitors to book council-operated spaces, such as meeting rooms and recreation halls. As part of the booking process, insurance and other legal documents are captured, and payment is taken when the booking is confirmed by council staff.
City of Mount Gambier uses SimpleGov to power not just its corporate website and digital newsroom, but also its organisation-wide intranet. The intranet forms a critical communications tool, providing council's many teams with timely news and announcements, a powerful staff directory, relevant policies and procedures, and direct access to productivity tools through Civica. Using SimpleGov to power its multiple digital properties, Mount Gambier's communications team can share content — such as news items —across its public-facing website, Elected Member extranet, and internal intranet with a single click.
Still happy with the website Simple delivered in 2016, but frustrated with the limitations of Unity and other available platforms within the local government sector, Holdfast Bay approached us to migrate their website to SimpleGov. We retained the website's design and content, while extending its functionality and allowing for future integrations with the council's internal systems, such as TechOne.
SimpleGov works well for council organisations of all sizes. From a single author to a highly distributed content production model, SimpleGov gives you the balance of flexibility and control that best suits the way you work.
Instead of reinventing the wheel by developing everyday website functionality, such as basic page editing tools, SimpleGov leverages a world-class content management system (CMS) as its foundation.
We then developed, and continue to focus our efforts on extending, a powerful layer of council-specific functionality that sits on top. This layer provides everything a council needs to meet its legislative requirements and to best handle council-specific content (such as agendas and minutes), integrations with common internal systems, and the features modern communities expect.
Together this is delivered as a hosted, locally-supported and actively-developed platform, and can be extended to meet any requirements specific to your council.
